Today's 15-year nostalgia- the real heart of the business, and best part of the last 15 years: all the wonderful humans I've employed. 28 women (yeah, all women, sorry dudes!) From all different backgrounds and places. Some of the very best people I've known and still know. Most of whom, after leaving, either came back to work or help out, or offered to. Friendships made over hilarious conversations, icing sugar explosions, cake batter mishaps, meltdowns, finger injuries, unofficial therapy sessions and a million cupcakes, cookies, butter tarts, cakes. Women I'm so proud of, who moved on to do amazing things- become a nurse, high end pastry chef, bad business bitch or forensic investigator (!!), travel the world, get married, leave bad relationships, adopt pets, have families.
