Ashley Armstrong has had a passion for baking since childhood. She casually baked her way through high school and an undergrad degree in art history at the University of Toronto before realizing where she should be focusing all her creative energy: cupcakes.

From that spark, she trained in baking and pastry at George Brown College and worked in bakeries across Toronto, all in preparation to take the leap and move back to her hometown to open Sweet! in 2011. Since then, Sweet! has been producing Oakville's best cupcakes and providing people-first customer service.

While cupcakes were Ashley's first baking love, as demand grew for custom cakes, Ashley developed the cake decorating skills to keep up. She and her talented decorators design and craft each cake by hand, bringing their aesthetic eye and buttercream skills to every creation.
